Latter-day Saints have been commissioned to bear testimony to all the peoples and nations of the earth. Our testimony is substantially different than that borne by those of other faiths. It embraces a marvelous host of truths not known to them, truths distinctive to the revelations of the Restoration. We cannot testify of what we do not know. These truths bring with them light and joy and that will, as they become known, cause faith to increase throughout the earth.
“Valiant in the Testimony of Christ, radiates gospel light and truth, and it is my conviction that those who become familiar with its content will likewise feel its spiritual strength. From the beginning to the end, the reader is given a feast of testimony about Jesus Christ.
The work is, in fact, an extensive definition of what “valiant in testimony” really means. Reading this comprehensive and extraordinary treatise is a delightful investment in spirituality and manifests what a person’s individual response to the testimony of Christ could be.
It is Joseph McConkie at his doctrinal best."
